Our Services
Every project begins with the same belief: your home should support your health, your happiness, and the way you actually live.
At The Well Home, we design interiors that feel as good as they look. Whether you are living in a home, hosting guests in one, or building one from the ground up, our approach is always the same: thoughtful, evidence-informed design that works on the body and mind – not just the eye.
Below you will find the four ways to work with us. If you are not sure which is right for you, get in touch – we are always happy to have a conversation first.

1 – The Wellness Audit
Most homes are designed for how they look. The Wellness Audit assesses how yours actually feels – and why.
In a single in-home visit, I work through your property room by room, assessing twelve elements that determine how a space supports the people living in it. Not just how it looks, but how it works on the body and mind – day after day, season after season.
You receive a scored written report for every room, with specific findings and a prioritised, practical action plan. Quick wins come first. Longer-term investments are clearly identified. Some recommendations cost nothing. All of them are yours to act on at your own pace.
Who this is for
The Wellness Audit is for homeowners who want to understand why their home doesn’t feel the way it should – for holiday let owners who want better reviews and a stronger nightly rate – and for developers who want to build wellness in from the very beginning.
WHAT’S INCLUDED
In-home visit – a room-by-room assessment across all twelve elements
Scored written report – findings for every room, clearly presented
Prioritised action plan – quick wins first, larger projects where relevant
Specific product and material guidance – where applicable
Follow-up guidance – to support confident decision-making after the report.
Pricing is based on property size and type. Get in touch to discuss your property and receive a tailored quote – we are always happy to have an initial conversation before you commit.

2 – Residential Interior Design
This is not interior design as decoration. It is interior design as craft – a considered, collaborative process that begins with how a space needs to feel, and builds every decision outward from there.
I work with private homeowners to create interiors that are calm, functional, and built to last. Not trend-led. Not generic. Specific to the people who live there, the light the rooms hold, the way the household moves through the day.
Every project draws on the same twelve-element framework as the Wellness Audit – which means that light, air quality, acoustics, materials, and the behavioural needs of the household are considered alongside the visual design, not as afterthoughts.
WHAT’S INCLUDED
Spatial planning and layout refinement
Lighting strategy – layering, temperature, natural light maximisation
Material and finish selection – with a focus on natural, low-toxin choices
Colour consultation
Biophilic design integration – planting, natural pattern, connection to outdoor space
Bespoke storage and built-in furniture design – in partnership with Studio Nest
Furniture sourcing and styling direction
Every project is different. Get in touch with a brief description of your property and what you are hoping to achieve – we will come back to you with a clear proposal.

3 – Holiday Let Design
Guests book on feeling. They leave reviews on how they slept.
Guests are not just comparing your listing to the property next door any more. They are comparing it to every stay they have ever had – the one where they slept brilliantly, felt genuinely at ease, and came home recommending it to everyone they knew.
That kind of experience is not accidental. It is the result of specific decisions: light that supports sleep, materials that feel good to touch, acoustics that let the space breathe, a scent that greets guests on arrival and stays with them long after they leave.
I work with holiday let owners to create interiors that stand out in competitive markets, justify a higher nightly rate, and earn the kind of reviews that fill a calendar. Every project is grounded in the same wellness framework – which means your guests will sleep better, feel better, and write better reviews, even if they cannot name exactly why.
WHAT’S INCLUDED
Wellness Audit of your existing property – identifying what is working against guest experience
Design concept and scheme development
Layout optimisation – for flow, functionality, and photography
Lighting strategy – including guest-facing guidance on how to use the space
Material and soft furnishing specification
Guest-focused detailing – the touches that generate five-star comments
Specification guidance for longevity and ease of maintenance
Holiday let projects are priced based on the number of rooms, the scope of work, and whether a Wellness Audit is included at the start. Get in touch to discuss your property.

4 – Property Staging For Sale
A buyer decides within moments of walking in.
That decision is not rational. It is felt. The light, the smell, the way sound moves through the space, the sense of ease or unease – these register before the square footage or the kitchen specification. Buyers make emotional decisions and justify them logically afterwards.
Property staging at The Well Home goes further than moving furniture and adding cushions. It applies the same wellness framework we use in every project: improving the light, addressing the acoustics, introducing natural materials and scent, clearing the visual field. The result is a property that does not just photograph well – it feels right to stand in.
A well-presented home generates more interest, holds more viewings, and commands stronger offers. The investment in staging almost always returns more than it costs.
WHAT’S INCLUDED
Initial walk-through – assessing the property through a buyer’s eyes
Furniture and layout optimisation – for flow, light, and spatial clarity
Decluttering strategy – identifying what stays, what moves, what goes
Styling and finishing touches – to create warmth, depth, and aspiration
Lighting refinement – replacing harsh or inconsistent bulbs, adding layers
Scent and atmosphere – a considered first impression on arrival
Guidance for the photography shoot – maximising the listing images
Staging is priced per property based on size and scope. Get in touch with your timeline and we will work backwards from your photography or listing date.
Why The Well Home
Every designer brings a different perspective. Ours is grounded in creating spaces that feel deeply considered, perform intelligently and stand the test of time.
a framework not a mood board
Every project is assessed against twelve specific elements that determine how a space affects the body and mind. This is not decorating – it is evidence-informed design with a consistent, proprietary methodology behind it.
DESIGN THAT WORKS COMMERCIALLY
Founder Holly Simpson has a background in property development, bespoke furniture, and wellness-led interiors. We understand how spaces are built, how they are sold, and how they perform as assets – not just how they look in a photograph.
Three businesses, one perspective
The Well Home, Andas Homes, and Studio Nest share a single underlying conviction: that the built environment profoundly affects the people who live and work in it. That integration means clients benefit from expertise across design, development, and bespoke fabrication in a way that a standalone design studio simply cannot offer.
